Rent receipt with landlord signature
The receipt PDF leaves a signature line blank on purpose — landlords sign separately. Use our PDF Editor to draw, upload, or type a signature after download.
Steps
- Step 1: Generate the receipt — Fill tenant, landlord, property, rent amount, and period. India template follows Section 10(13A) wording with amount in words. Download a single month or a full financial year in one bulk PDF.
- Step 2: Open in PDF Editor — Open the PDF Editor and upload your downloaded receipt. Use Add signature to draw, upload an image of the landlord’s sign, or type a name.
- Step 3: Download the signed PDF — Download the signed file and keep it for HRA submission or your rent records. The original receipt layout is preserved.
Frequently asked questions
Why isn’t the signature on the receipt already?
Most landlords sign on paper or send a scan separately. We generate the standard layout; you add the signature when you have it.
Can the landlord sign on their phone?
Yes — send them the PDF. They can open the Editor on any device, add a signature, and send it back.
Is the receipt format valid for HRA?
India receipts use standard Section 10(13A) wording with INR in figures and words, rent period, property address, and owner details.
